Many people will join MLM today and not know what to do. They won’t have a business plan in place that will steer them toward success and MLM profitability.

When you join MLM for the first time a lot of times it’s because your friend of neighbor approached you about their particular MLM opportunity. This is usually the case and it usually doesn’t work out very well.

What happens when you join MLM through your friend or neighbor is your sponsor doesn’t have a success plan in place so they can’t help you to prosper in your new business. All they know is to make a list of your friends and family and invite them to see the plan.

That approach will work, but usually is very limited in its effectiveness at developing a substantial MLM group. Usually people run out of new contacts to show the plan to and then they quit.

I’ve got to say that I don’t blame them for quitting! Trying to chase your friends and family into a Network Marketing opportunity is not easy and the chances of  your success are very low.

At this failure point, the new Network Marketer does one of two things:

1) Quits the industry. Just flat out gets disgusted with the whole thing and will never join MLM again.

2) Falls in love with the concept of residual income and looks for a better opportunity. An opportunity with a group and a leader that are taking action on a success plan!
